Where’s the beach?
Easy to answer at this property. Walk out the driveway, cross the street, and you’re on Kamaole II, one of Kihei’s popular golden beaches. This beach has a lifeguard station staffed by professional lifeguards and a public restroom.
Kihei Akahi Property Description
Kihei Akahi is one of Kihei’s older properties, but is still a favorite for a reasonable rate, and has super quick access to a wonderful beach. Kamaole II, located directly across the street is a golden, sandy beach, and is great for swimming and sunning. The grounds at Kihei Akahi feature two swimming pools, tennis court, and BBQ areas.
- Building A: 8 units (each unit 2 bedroom/1.5 bath) – townhouse style – this building sits closest to the street and road noise is an issue.
- Building B: 10 units – (each unit 2 bedroom/2 bath) – two story building, sitting towards the middle of the property. This building is never a favorite, as it gets very little light. The entry side backs up to the driveway, and the lanai side is shadowed by the taller building C.
- Building C: 6 stories with 20 units per floor, sitting towards the middle of the property and many of the units on the upper floors have a side view to the ocean.
- Building D: 7 stories with 16 units per floor, located at the back of the property (quietest area). Since this building is parallel to the ocean, it gets the best views at the property. Keep in mind that this is across the street from the ocean, so will never be a panoramic view, but is still a nice slice of ocean. How much longer will it take to get to the beach from building #D? About a minute!
Kihei Akahi has an excellent location, and even though these are older units, many of our guests return to this property year after year. Book early as some units have a nice view (no extra charge) and they’re always reserved first.
