Maalaea Surf is located at 12 N. Kihei Road, Kihei
The north end of Kihei is quiet, out of the busier area of South Kihei. Of course in just a few minutes by car, you can be at the Kamaole beaches, shops and restaurants of south Kihei.
Contrary to what the name implies, this property is NOT in the village of Maalaea. It’s at the north end of Kihei on Sugar Beach.
Where’s the beach?
You’ll be on top of it! Maalaea Surf sits on Sugar Beach, with 3.5 miles of sand at the doorstep. This is fabulous for walking, running, or just playing in the sand. When you depart from Maalaea Surf, you’ll pass three buildings, then just open beach until you reach the area of Maalaea.
Property Description
Unlike some properties that have ocean front units hundreds of feet from the sand, at Maalaea Surf the A, D and H buildings sit right on the sand. As you can see from the photos and the property map, the B, C, E, F, G buildings are set back only slightly from the beach.
Maalaea Surf has lovely grounds, landscaped with a variety of tropical trees, shrubs and flowers. The property was built with parking on the road side, across the back of the grounds, so that all units face towards the beach. When picturing the property, imagine a large figure three with the open side of the three being the ocean. This unique layout gives every unit a view.
Although Maalaea Surf is one of the smaller condo properties it still features TWO swimming pools and two tennis courts.
The layout offers one bedroom units on the ground level. The units on the ground level ends of each unit are two bedrooms, and all second level units are two bedrooms. The second floor units are two stories, with the second bedroom being loft-style above the living area.
There are a total of 60 units on grounds, but not all units are available for vacation rental.
