This property sits above the end of S. Kihei Road, at the entrance to Wailea. The hotels, shops and beaches of Wailea are within walking distance. Major grocery stores are located in Kihei, just a few minutes away by car.
Where’s the beach?
Keawekapu Beach is just down the hill, and across S. Kihei Road. Walking time will vary based on where your unit is located in the property. If you’re lower on the property, it’ll be a bit quicker to get to the beach. The walk is downhill, but when you’re ready to come “home”, it’s a bit of a trudge uphill, particularly if you have toddlers with you. When you get to the beach, it’s fabulous, a 2/3 mile stretch of golden sand. From here you can turn to the left, and walk the beaches all the way through Wailea.

The Palms at Wailea is low rise (only 2 stories), and nicely spread across the manicured grounds. The exteriors have a Mediterranean look, with white stucco walls, red tile roofs, and aqua sun awnings.
This property has 150 condominium homes at almost twenty acres. There is a mix of vacation rental units and owner occupied units.
Each unit is individually owned and decorated, so be sure to ask to see photos of “your” unit so that you know what to expect when you arrive. As you look at units, check the location on the property (see property map below). Some units sit close to the Wailea Alanui Drive, or Okalani Drive, and will have audible street sounds.
